The New Generation: Sony EXview ICX694
AVT’s Prosilica GX2750 Gigabit Ethernet camera incorporates the new Sony ICX694 CCD sensor. Sony brings its EXview HAD technology previously utilized on lower resolution sensors such as the ICX285 and ICX674 to newer devices like the ICX694 adding higher resolution and fast frame rates to the technology’s existing benefits.
The GX2750 combines the excellent image quality and sensitivity of the ICX694 with the fast Prosilica GX Dual GigE Link Aggregation interface that outputs 240 MB/sec of image data and supports frame rates of approximately 19 fps at 6 megapixel resolution.

EXview sensors provide high sensitivity and near IR performance, which combined with AVT’s set of advanced camera features makes them ideal for low-light or night-time imaging using an IR light source, minimizing shutter times and producing sharp, high quality images with excellent dynamic range.
