Prosilica GS Now Available With Medical Enclosure
Optional housing for medical imaging applications.
Allied Vision Technologies now offers its Prosilica GS Gigabit Ethernet cameras with an optional medical housing as part of the AVT Modular Concept. The Prosilica GS is a periscope-style digital camera with GigE Vision interface and is available in resolutions ranging from VGA (0.3 Megapixel) to 5 Megapixel.
The alternative casing in white is designed to meet the requirement of medical imaging applications. Allied Vision Technologies has been supplying cameras for medical applications such as ophthalmology, dental prosthetics, orthopedics or cosmetic surgery for years and developed a specific AVT-Medical housing for its FireWire cameras. The Prosilica GS is the first GigE Vision camera offering this option.
