A day at AVT – Optonet Master+ Students on Discovery Tour
As a partner in the Optonet network, Allied Vision Technologies welcomed a group of students, professors and representatives of other partner companies in their production facilities in Stadtroda, Germany on May 27, 2011.
The meeting included presentations on the basics of machine vision, camera technology and camera standards as well as a visit of AVT’s camera production and quality insurance.
“The feedback of our students ranged from positive to enthusiastic – many of them would be interested in an internship at AVT!” said Peggy Lerner, Head of Optonet’s academic program.
