Reliable and easy to use SWIR cameras

Goldeye InGaAs cameras with Sony IMX990 and Sony IMX991 SenSWIR sensors

Our four new Goldeye G/CL-030 and G/CL-130 models incorporate the innovative Sony SenSWIR sensors which support a wide spectral range allowing imaging in both visible and SWIR spectrums.

Our new SWIR cameras feature a robust and compact design optimized for industrial applications. The integrated single-stage sensor cooling (TEC1) and several on-board image correction functions contribute significantly to the camera’s excellent image quality. In addition, standardized interfaces (GigE Vision including PoE or Camera Link) and comprehensive I/O control options simplify the connection to your software solution and the synchronization with other system components.

Innovative InGaAs SenSWIR sensor technology

Excellent image quality, true in detail

Our new Goldeye G/CL-030 and G/CL-130 models incorporate Sony's latest SenSWIR sensors, which provide due to the innovative InGaAs sensor architecture a quantum leap in pixel size (only 5µm) and image homogeneity, while enabling image acquisition in the visible and shortwave infrared range (400 nm to 1700 nm) with high quantum efficiency.

In combination with a temperature stabilized sensor these features will greatly expand the future application fields of Goldeye SWIR cameras in terms of spectral analysis of objects and a more precise detection of details for applications such as semiconductor inspection, fruit inspection or spectral imaging by ensuring reproduceable imaging results.

See more details with our new Goldeye models. Four times higher resolution. See even finest details due to the small pixel size of only 5 µm.

In the following we are comparing the imaging performance of our Goldeye G-034 with VGA resolution and 15 µm pixel vs. Goldeye G-130 with SXGA resolution and 5 µm pixel size.

Imaging performance using Visible-SWIR optimized lens

Goldeye G-130 cameras not only have a four times higher resolution, but also convince by their high spatial resolution capabilities:

Imaging performance with cost-effective IR lens

Broadband imaging using a cost-effective standard SWIR lens from KOWA (LM16JC5M-IR-f1.8)

Due to the resulting focus shift over the broad spectral range supported by the Goldeye G-034 (900nm - 1.700nm) and the Goldeye G-130 (400nm - 1.700nm) the images look a little bit blurry. Nevertheless, the spatial resolution of the 5 µm pixel camera (G-130) is still better.

Using bandpass filters help to increase the sharpness.

Thereby, the sharpness increase is so much better the broader the spectral range of the sensor and the smaller the bandpass filter's transmision range is.
