New Talents at AVT

In spite of the economic downturn of 2009, Allied Vision Technologies kept growing in the last twelve months. Meet the new AVT experts!

Sales / Support:
Expansion for a better service

 
Mark Wilson joined AVT in February and has rejoined the vision market after several years away. Mark is responsible for sales in the Central region of the United States and serves his customers from his home-office in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.


Thomas Lin Xiaochun
started at AVT Asia in Singapore in July 2010. He will provide technical support as a Field Application Engineer to customers and distributors of the region.




Kristin Liu Liyu
is AVT Asia`s new Office Manager in Singapore since July 2010. Kristin will handle the subsidiary’s sales administration and logistics.


Research & Development:
New ideas for new products


Dr. Jenss Schmidt-May
started at AVT in November 2010 as a Senior Director of Product Lifecycle Management. He is located at the R&D Center in Ahrensburg and heads development and product management.



Marcus Pfeffer
strengthens the software team of AVT in Ahrensburg as a software developer. Marcus has a degree in computer science and has extensive experience as a software developer in the field of industrial image processing.



Niklas Günther
has been working in July 2010 as a software validator of AVT. He has already gained experience in validation in the machine vision area and strengthens now the validation-team in Ahrensburg.

Burnaby grows



Edsel Batuigas
joined our busy Burnaby (Canada) production team in January 2010 where he works as production technician.



Jenn Pattinson
joined Allied Vision Technologies Canada Inc. in January 2010 as an Office Administrator / Shipping Clerk, bringing to the team an array of office management, administrative and shipping experience.



Randy Santera
joined our Burnaby (Canada) site in March 2010 as a production technician having previously worked in product engineering support in the electronics industry.


Administration:
More efficiency, better planning


Henrik Leps
is AVT’s new Head of Controlling in Stadtroda since August 2010. Henrik has gained international experience in Romania and China. His task will be to adapt AVT’s controlling standards to the company’s international growth.
