Allied Vision Technologies at NI Week 2010
Successful participation in the NI Week conference on August 3-5 in Austin, Texas (USA).
Highlights of the AVT booth were new camera families Prosilica GX, Manta and Guppy PRO as well as the Stingray family. Visitors could also experience a demo featuring GigE Vision and FireWire camera operated simultaneously using AVT’s Universal Package software development kit.
The Prosilica GX was particularly successful on this event. This innovative camera with Link Aggregation Group GigE interface is now well known for being the fastest GigE Vision camera in the world. Visitors of NI Week also discovered the camera’s motorized lens control functions. This function is extremely valuable for applications where the camera is far away from the computer and the lens needs adjusting (as well as any camera controls) for testing or changes to the application.
