AVT Fire4Linux v2.0
This package is designed for those who are looking for a common and powerful alternative to the Windows world.
AVT Fire4Linux is an all-embracing SDK optimized for use with AVT cameras that is suitable for all Linux distributions. To ease the use of this SDK especially for Linux beginners the package supports also the standard packet managers of (open)SUSE and Red Hat/Fedora distributions. The result meets the expectation of “Plug-and-Play”.
The AVT Fire4Linux SDK is provided as open source and therewith is free if charge. It contains the following components:
· Standard 1394 bus library that provides direct access to the 1394 bus

· High level standard programming interface for IIDC/DCAM compliant 1394 cameras

· Library to control the SmartFeatures of AVT cameras in a simple and comfortable way. As such the libavt1394 can be considered as an extension to the libdc1394

· Comprehensive and easily operated viewer application to test AVT cameras and to experiment with their special features without any programming
