Vision 2009 Preview: Five New AVT Products

Allied Vision Technologies will exhibit at the Vision Show to be held from November 3-5, 2009 in Stuttgart, Germany. For its 20th anniversary, AVT will come up with an explosion of new products:
 

• Prosilica GX: Fastest GigE Vision camera in the world with up to 240 MB/sec.
• Manta: Low-cost GigE camera
• Stingray GE: “Transformer-Camera” now available with GigE interface
• Guppy Pro: Turbo-Guppy smallest IEEE1394b camera in the world
• Pike F-1100 and F-1600 with 11 and 16 Megapixel sensors

Best Practice Case Study: Real Time 3D Reconstruction

Real-time 3D reconstruction system developed by the 3D Imaging Lab of the University of Kentucky uses a Prosilica GigE Vision camera in combination with structured light illumination to render 3D models of a live moving object.
